SAE Institute Atlanta hosted the inaugural Authors Showcase on January 30, 2016 to connect students with local writers.

The setting was intimate with light jazz and R&B playing as the guests entered. The panel of authors featured Jerry T. Myers, Dr. Sheila D. Williams, Cappriccieo Scates, Darrell "Digga" Branch, Evita G. Kaigler, and Tamiko Hope. Each panel member spoke candidly about the experiences that influenced their written works.

The conversation mirrored an afternoon discussion in a local bookstore. Guests engaged the authors with thought provoking questions, which further enhanced the dialogue.
